Aceh Typical Dishes



Aceh is Indonesia's westernmost region. Of all the provinces in Indonesia, Aceh is a region which has the highest diversity in comparison with other regions in Indonesia. Aceh has a lot of typical foods from different regions and have meaning. Here are some typical dishes of Aceh along with the recipe.

1. Aceh Noodles
Aceh noodle many kinds, such as noodles added with shrimp, crab, squid, and meat. The thick yellow noodles can be cooked to taste, can be fried and cooked in soup (broth). Usually Aceh noodle added vegetable, spice, and which is unique every Aceh noodle seller has a special and secret recipe.

Ingredients
300 grams of shrimp or meat (clean)
400 grams of noodles yellow
3 tablespoons cooking oil
1 stalk lemongrass

3 spring onions (thinly sliced)
3 tomatoes (small pieces)
50 grams of cabbage ((thinly sliced)
30 grams of sprouts (thinly sliced)
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons sugar
1 bay leaf
250 milliliters of water

Softened seasoning
3 spring onions
5 red chilies
4 cloves garlic
half teaspoon ground pepper
1 cm turmeric (fuel)

How to make
1. Heat cooking oil. stir-fry the spice paste until fragrant.
2. Enter the shrimp or meat, cabbage, tomatoes, and sprouts. then enter the water.
3. Add salt, sugar, pepper and bay leaf. Wait until the sauce thickens.
4. Add the fried onions and noodles typical of Aceh ready to be served.
